Pistachio Ice Cream
One of my favorite ice cream flavors is pistachio, not very popular due to the high price of this delicious seed, pistachio ice cream ends up being very difficult to get in popular ice cream shops.
This grain has Asian origins and is currently cultivated in other places.
Pistachios are a very nutritious grain and contain some vitamins such as calcium, iron, magnesium, phosphorus, vitamins B6 and A, as well as fiber and vegetable protein, meaning they are a very rich grain.
It can be consumed as a snack, as an ice cream flavor as we will see below, or in traditional desserts.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 box of cream
- 150 g shelled pistachios
- 2 egg whites
- 400 ml of milk
PREPARATION METHOD
- Crush some of the seeds with a knife and set aside.
- In a blender, add the condensed milk, cream, milk, and the remaining pistachio kernels and blend well.
- Set this mixture aside.
- Beat the egg whites until stiff.
- Mix the two preparations gently.
- Add the chopped and reserved pistachio seeds.
- Finally, place in a container to be stored and freeze for 4 to 5 hours.
