INGREDIENTS:
- 1 cup raw, unsalted almonds
- 1 cup white raisins
- 1 cup Chia Seeds
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- Vanilla Bean or 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 3 cups of water
- Fruit of your choice
PREPARATION METHOD:
- First, place the almonds and white raisins to hydrate in mineral water.
- Each one in a container.
- Let them soak for approximately 4 hours.
- After this period, discard the almond water and reserve the grape water.
- Blend the almonds and raisins in a blender with the water they were soaking in.
- Add the cinnamon, vanilla, 3 cups of mineral water and beat until creamy and smooth.
- Strain this mixture through a cheesecloth strainer.
- Add the chia seeds to this mixture and let them soak for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator, until they reach the consistency of a pudding.
- When it has the desired consistency, distribute this chia pudding into individual containers, glasses, cups or jars of your choice.
- To make this pudding even more delicious, add mousse made from your favorite fruit, or even the chopped fruit itself, on top.
- After choosing your preferred fruit, refrigerate it for approximately 1 hour.
Shelf life: up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
