Chess Chicken
I would like to encourage you to prepare this recipe. If you haven't tried chicken xadrez yet, you need to try this delight.
Chicken xadrez is a food of Chinese origin and very popular in Brazil.
Made basically with chicken, various vegetables, soy sauce and peanuts, it is an oriental delight that has conquered the palates of Brazilians.

INGREDIENTS
- ½ kg of chicken breast cut into cubes
- Salt to taste
- 1 bell pepper of each color (red, yellow and green)
- 2 medium onions
- 1 small piece of grated ginger
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame oil
- ¼ Cup of Soy Sauce
- 500ml of Water
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 pinch of sugar
- Roasted Peanuts
- Scallion

Preparation method:
- First, with the pan very hot, add the oil and fry the chicken. Add a little salt to your chicken at this point. After frying it, set aside in another container.
- In the same pan that you fried the chicken, add the peppers, onion cut into 4 cm squares, ginger and sesame oil and let fry.
- After frying the peppers and onion, return the chicken to the pan and add the soy sauce, salt, and starch dissolved in water and stir everything.
- Let it cook for a while so that all the flavor penetrates the chicken.
- Taste the seasoning at this point and adjust if necessary.
- Remembering that soy sauce is already salty.
- Cook until the texture of the peppers and onions is soft, but not too mushy, or to your preference; to finish the dish, add the peanuts and chives and mix well.
- Serve with white rice.
