Rest or Organize?
The holiday has passed, which made me analyze a question that often lingers in the minds of housewives: should I rest or organize?
What do you think? What to do on the holiday?
First of all, I want to make it clear that there are no rules, choices must be based on the dynamics and characteristics of each family, as each one has its own reality.
In my case, I initially propose to keep the house organized every day, so as not to create accumulations and big messes, and on Friday and Saturday I do a more complete cleaning.
And if possible, rest on the holiday.
However, when we already have in mind, for example, that there will be a holiday in the next few days, we can follow two paths: keep our organization grid or leave it to clean and organize on the holiday.
Each of the above choices has its pros and cons and that is what you should think about when deciding what to do.
Think about it, if you keep your schedule organized on the holiday you will be free to rest, go out with family or friends or do something you like and don't do due to lack of free time.
Likewise, if you choose to rest on the day that would be your cleaning time, when the holiday arrives you will have to dedicate yourself to putting everything in order.
And the question remains: should I rest or should I organize? Some people prefer to clean and organize on both days because it makes them feel good, while others prefer not to organize on either day and will struggle to put things in order later.
Situations to think about that can help you in this choice, How am I feeling physically and emotionally? Do I need some time for myself, am I overwhelmed with work and household chores?
If the answer is yes, decide to rest! Make the most of this time by doing what you like, reading a book or watching that movie you've been wanting to watch. Even if your home isn't how you'd like it to be, remember that you are your priority, and resting and feeling well is part of the process.
If the answer is no! You are feeling good, with high energy, and have household chores to do, let's get down to work and get everything in order. Your choice should be to organize!
Once again, remembering that there are no rules for this choice, above all choose what is best for you and your family.
Finally, the holiday will pass and you may have rested or organized yourself, the most important thing is that you are happy, other days of rest will come, as well as other days of organization.
Take advantage of the moments to do what makes you feel good, give yourself the pleasure and satisfaction of living in an organized environment, but also allow yourself to enjoy a day with friends and family or just an afternoon of movies and popcorn.
