How about a delicious corn cream, with mozzarella, bacon and pepperoni?

This recipe is very simple, quick to prepare and tastes wonderful.

This recipe is very common and super popular in Goias and has a very different name – Chica Doida.

Traditionally it is made with fresh corn, but today we will adapt it with canned corn to speed up the process and make life easier for the housewife.

INGREDIENTS:

  • ½ Calabrian Sausage
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 cans of sweet corn
  • 500 ml of milk
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 allspice pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • sliced mozzarella
  • Chives to taste
  • Optional paprika
  • Chimichurri to taste

PREPARATION METHOD:

  1. First, fry the bacon in a pan, then the pepperoni and set aside.
  2. In a blender, beat the corn, milk, and chili pepper until smooth.
  3. Now, in the pan where the bacon and pepperoni were fried, sauté the onion.
  4. Add a little paprika and add the corn cream and mix constantly until it thickens.
  5. When it is very thick, add the cheese, bacon and pepperoni.
  6. Finish with chimichurri and chives.
